For the 75th anniversary of Batman, the Swiss watchmaker Romain Jerome unveiled this limited edition DNA Batman watch in a series of 75 watches in homage to the age of Bruce Wayne, with a dial that bears the emblem of Batman in black lacquer.

RJ-Romain Jerome presents the brands first Superhero watch, the Batman-DNA. As emphasized by Manuel Emch, CEO of RJ Watches: “I’ve always been a big fan of Batman, his mysterious character and double identity are an endless source of inspiration. It represents a certain duality of good and evil in a contemporary world. ”
The case is impressive with its 46 mm size in black PVD steel and its machined black faceted bezel intending to recall the angular contours of the “Batmobile”.
The dial is intended to be “a reflection of the personality of the Super Hero Gotham City, crude and sophisticated at the same time.” At the center of it, the eye is drawn to the black lacquered emblem of Batman (the bat with outstretched wings) . The legendary “Bat Signal” shines at night thanks to the black Superluminova C1 lume which surrounds the famous symbol of the Hero.
A black crocodile strap is intended to recall the leather suit worn by Batman in addition and the rear of the watch features an engraved Batman medallion with the signature RJ rough finish.
Since his first appearance in Detective Comics # 27 Batman is out of the shadows to conquer all media and become the most popular hero in the world so its no surprise watchmakers pay homage to the comic book hero, other watches such as the Rebellion T-1000 Gotham for instance.
