Louis Vuitton Tambour Mysterieuse: Transparent wonder.

The Louis Vuitton Tambour Mysterieuse uses Louis Vuitton’s new movement the calibre LV115 and is a transparent wonder based on the mysterious movement clocks created by famed watchmaker Jean-Eugene Robert Houdin in the 19th century.

Its the first movement to be entirely made by Louis Vuitton at the brands workshops in Switzerland with 115 hand-mounted parts floating between two sapphire crystals.

The hour and minute hands rotate on transparent sapphire discs, the small seconds display is on the central section of the movement on the left side at the 9 oclock position. It has an eight-day power reserve.

A truly one-of-a-kind, handcrafted masterpiece from one of the world’s great purveyors of luxury.
