Now while looking pretty snazzy in your stylish mechanical watch you can not only check to see whether you`re on time but also whether you need to grab your umbrella too.
Watch brand Da Vindice was established in 2009 and their mission is to offer unique creations. Their Vindex model will be presented at Baselworld. It features not only a Tourbillon- considered the most complex watch complication, but also a miniature barometer so you can tell the time and the weather.
The aneroid barometer appears at the bottom centre of the watch while a sub-dial at the 1 o`clock position indicates date and one at 10 o`clock is a power reserve indicator.
This type of barometer uses a capsule to measure changes in air pressure. The capsule has been placed at the 10 o`clock position so that according to Vindice “the watch is more reactive to ambient air than to body temperature.”
This impressive piece of engineering is aimed at connoisseurs of fine mechanical watches. Powered by an automatic movement its water resistance to 3 ATM and a limited edition of 50 pieces.
